Travel: Gorgeous Brew with the Pope of ESB

Yesterday it was Brewday number one. My mate Reubin had a hatched a plan with me to brew an NZ hopped ESB with him and invite former Fullers Head Brewer John Keeling along to bless the brew and have some lunch. My day started with an experience of London Underground rush hour chaos. I made it through just an hour late but it was an education. The brew went well and per usual all I did as guest brewer was the odd bit of glory work. We then hit a few pubs including the Southhampton Arms , The Oxford Arms Kentish Town, the Euston Tap and ended up at the Harp. We also stopped for amazing cheap Italian pizza in Kings Cross.
